Alexander Lansang, MD

Dr. Alexander Lansang is board certified in Family Medicine and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians. For undergrad, he attended Texas State University and then completed his medical degree at Autonoma University of Guadalajara in Mexico and New York Medical College. Dr. Lansang’s Family Medicine residency and internship was at the University of Colorado in Denver. 

Prior to joining East Tennessee Primary Care Associates, Dr. Lansang had 17 years of extensive experience in all aspects of primary care including outpatient and inpatient medicine, as well as wound care, and emergency medicine. He has served as ER Director, Chief of Staff and member of the Medical Executive Committee in Texas and Wyoming respectively. Additionally, Dr. Lansang has also served as Medical Student Preceptor to future physicians. He speaks English and Spanish. 

Dr. Lansang resides in Knoxville, TN with his family. In his spare time, Dr. Lansang enjoys golfing, listening to podcasts, and spending time with his wife and children.
