Lora D. Spurlock, FNP, MSN, BSN, and ANCC

With nearly 20 years of experience in family practice medicine and as a hospitalist, Lora Spurlock joined the Healthstar Family in 2023. She serves patients of all ages at Healthstar Physicians Premier Medical and also holds the title of the Medical Director for Sevier County Juvenile Facility. Throughout her career Lora has treated patients in both pediatric and adult medicine. She strives to always be giving back to the medical community and sharpening her skills. She has served as a Preceptor for Nurse Practitioner Programs at East Tennessee State University and Carson-Newman University. She’s also worked with non-profits including Volunteer for Operation Smile Cleft Lip and Palate Repair in Virginia Beach as well as Nonprofit for Urological Care Worldwide in Austin, TX.

Lora is active in the local community where she has acted as Cub Scout Master teacher and also an active member of Buffalo Grove Baptist Church in Jefferson City, TN.
