Catherine Spiker, DO
Catherine is a board-certified Family Physician who was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama. She attended Birmingham Southern College for undergraduate where she played Division 1 soccer before pursuing a career in medicine. She completed medical school at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine Georgia Campus and residency at St. Vincent Family Medicine Residency in Jacksonville, Florida. During medical school, she met her husband Dr. Raj Harricharan Singh.
Dr. Spiker has been practicing since 2015. The last four years have been at Healthstar Physicians in Newport, Tennessee. Recently Dr. Raj and Dr. Spiker opened their own branch of Healthstar Physicians in Newport and they continue to serve the area with up-to-date medical care.
Dr. Spiker has a special interest in chronic disease management through osteopathy including diabetes, COPD, coronary artery disease, heart failure; women’s health; preventative care; and pediatric care. She also performs osteopathic manipulation. In her free time, Dr. Spiker enjoys hiking, gardening, watching football, visiting family, and spending time with her son.
Dr. Spiker is board certified in Family Medicine by the American College of Osteopathic Family Medicine.
