Christy P'Simer, FNP-C, is a Family Nurse Practitioner at Jefferson Family Physicians, a division of Healthstar Physicians, PC. A Knoxville, Tennessee native, Christy brings more than 10 years of nursing experience caring for patients across emergency, critical care, and urgent care settings.
She earned her Master of Science in Nursing with a concentration in Family Nurse Practitioner from South College in 2025. Before becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner, Christy spent a decade as a registered nurse in emergency and ICU settings before practicing in urgent care.
Christy is passionate about family medicine because it allows her to build lasting relationships with patients and their families while helping them achieve better health through every stage of life. Her professional interests include preventive medicine, wellness, chronic disease management, women's health, and patient education.
She is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board and is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
Outside of work, Christy enjoys spending time with her family, reading a good book, and improving her golf game.
